Give today. Feed hope. Change lives.
Caring & Sharing’s weekly food distribution is open every Tuesday from 8:00 AM until noon, serving households from Williamsburg, Georgetown, Florence, and Marion counties. On average, nearly 600 households receive food assistance each month through this ministry, offering not only groceries but also hope, encouragement, and compassionate care during difficult times.
The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is a federal program that helps provide nutritious food to individuals and families in need at no cost. Through TEFAP, Caring & Sharing is able to distribute USDA food items to eligible households, helping stretch family budgets and ensuring neighbors have access to essential groceries.
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) is a federal nutrition program that provides a monthly box of nutritious USDA foods to eligible seniors age 60 and older, helping support health and well-being.
Program Qualifications:
Seniors age 60+ may be eligible to receive a pre-packaged box of food. Once a month, we receive boxes from the USDA for distribution to qualifying individuals. We are happy to help register seniors 60+ for this program. Seniors must also meet income guidelines found here.
